Your maintenance fee includes up to 4 hours of website changes per month. As a point of reference, most changes within an established webpage only take a few minutes! What is a web host and why should it be secure? Every website is stored on a host or server computer that is permanently connected to the Internet through high-speed data lines. Web sites are designed and then "uploaded" or transferred to the host computer for dependable, constant access by the public to your website. A "secured host service" is another layer of security that your site is protected from computer hackers and unscrupulous individuals. Your maintenance fee also includes the fee paid to your secured web host for keeping your site up and running 99.99% of the time. What is a domain name and how do I get one? A domain name is your unique name for your website. Think of it as your street address or telephone number. This is how people will find you on the Internet. Domain names are a highly sought after commodity! We will try to establish your preferred domain name. There is always a chance that someone else is using your first choice domain name. If so, we can work together to develop a satisfactory alternative name. Once your domain name is accepted by InterNIC, (an independent non-profit contractor for the U.S. government that maintains domain names) you can secure it for as many years as you want to pay for. The industry standard is to secure a domain name of 2 years with the rights to renew it at the end of that period. We can negotiate the entire domain name purchase for you.
I already have a domain name but not a website. What do I do? We have the ability to transfer domain names from one host server to another. The current holder of the domain name may charge a small fee to transfer the name to the new host server. We can negotiate your domain name transfer for you.
